Stevie Wonder is a very affectionate and loving cat who wants nothing more than to curl up next to you for belly rubs. He may be blind, but he doesn’t let that hold him back! He gets around just as well as a seeing cat, and is still very explorative and curious. He has zero issues finding his litter box, or a cozy couch to snuggle up with you on! And if he can’t find you, he will let you know, with his very unique chirpy meow! He’s very talkative, and a total purr machine. Stevie is so excited to start a new chapter in his new life in his forever home! Stevie was found abandoned in Astoria Queens by a kind woman . She reached out to us when she realized he might be blind , and just how affectionate he was. Afraid of what could happen to a friendly blind cat in New York City streets we rescued him off the streets immediately and to a veterinarian. The vet found he was already neutered, and that he was indeed blind. and was at some point an indoor cat . Stevie can never tell us his entire backstory but we wish he could . All we know is he trusts humans so much , you would never know he was abandoned outside . Stevie deserves a home that will give him a ton of love and affection for the rest of his days .

Special Needs: Stevie Wonder is blind just like his amazingly talented namesake ! Being blind doesn’t mean much for Stevie he figures out the lay of the land pretty fast and finds his litter box and food easily ! He would just need a slow intro to a new home to allow him time to find everything safely !
